A Galaxy of Sound

Star Trek Online is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game developed by Cryptic Studios based on the Star Trek franchise. The game is set in the 25th century, 30 years after the events of Star Trek: Nemesis.

What do I do?

As a Sound Designer, I'm taking care of giving this legendary world the sonic identity it always had, implementing the sounds on the engine as well as taking care of Voicer Over, Music and Cinematics. Working with the amazing team of Cryptic and well known celebrities from the series, like the legendary Denise Crosby, in each and every new update.

Space Sonic Hierarchy

In massive fleet battles, the audio engine dynamically prioritizes the "hero" ship’s iconic phasers and shields, ensuring that the legendary Trek sound palette remains clear even in a 40-player combat encounter.
